For the III quarter of 2008 the trading volume on the RTS Stock Market
reached $82,0 billion (1,99 trillion roubles), including all types of trades.
For the same period the average daily trading volume on the RTS Stock
Market reached $1,24 billion.
On September 30th, 2008 the RTS Index closed at 1211,84 points,
47,39% down on the closing value as of June 30th, 2008 (2053,93
points). Over the reviewed period the second-tier stock index, RTS-2,
shed 46,63% to reach 1375,18 points (2576,87 points as of June 30th,
2008).

Top sellers of the quarter were Gazprom ordinary shares (GAZP) – $525,7 mln.
, Sberbank ordinary shares (SBER) – $510,9 mln., followed by OAO "LUKOIL"
ordinary shares (LKOH) - $409,7 mln. The share of each security in the trading
volume made up 20,57%, 19,99% and 16,03% accordingly.
The III Quarter saw a significant trading volume in bonds. The top sellers of the
quarter were LLC "FinanceBusinessGroup" (FBGR02) bonds, whose trading
volume stood at $127,709 mln.
The first five positions in the RTS Classic Market leading operators rating of
the III Quarter of 2008 took Troika Dialog, Deutsche Securities ZAO, UBS
Securities CJSC, Renaissance Broker and METROPOL IFCo. Ltd. respectively.
The first five positions on the RTS T+O market: 1 – Universal Investment
Company Partner Ltd.ALOR INVEST Ltd, 2 – Troika Dialog, 3 – ALFA-BANK,
4 – ATON LLC, 5 – ALOR Plus Corporation.
